The roof tiles installation was completed on Friday 04.06.2010 so we are extremely glad and happy about it after waiting so long. Lock up stage should be completed soon and hopefully they won't take forever to start on the internals.
Hi Polo moving along ,good to see. We are at fixing now ,I make it a point to drop in during the day when someone is there and pick on things not as per tender. You will be suprised to hear that most of the trades arent sure about any BV(build variations ) made .For eg we wanted the skirting off in the some of the areas due to timber floors to be installed after HO.I had to walk the tradie again through showing him the area. the painter was about give us an extra feature wall (damn should have said yes). I just got a curtain measure with Into blinds because we are getting a couple of P/shutters,which takes 2 months .Iam guessing we are about a 2months from HO.Cant wait till its all over ,it does your head in. Andy
Glad to hear that you're at fixing stage, wow that's pretty quick, I think you started after me and now you're way ahead. You're lucky that you are able to drop by during the day to see the tradies as I am not able to because of work. 2 months will go by quickly so hopefully there are no more drama's and you can move into your house faster. I agree with you that building a house is a massive headache.
